What this site is

PokiGame Arcade is a small, independently run library of browser games. Everything here loads in a normal browser tab — no installer, no store account, no launcher left running in the background. You click a tile, the game loads, and that is the whole flow. It works the same on a laptop, a phone and a school Chromebook, because it is all just a web page.

Where the games come from

The titles are licensed HTML5 games distributed through GameMonetize, a syndication network that lets independent studios put their work on sites like this one. We do not write the games and we never claim to: each one belongs to the studio that built it, and it is served from that studio’s own hosting. What we add is the shelf around it — the categories, the written descriptions, the testing, and a player that gets out of the way once the game starts.

Independent, and not connected to Poki

“Poki game” is simply how a great many people search for free browser games, which is why the phrase appears in our name and on our pages. So that there is no confusion: this site is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Poki B.V., and it is not a mirror of poki.com. If that is the site you were looking for, it is a different company with a different catalogue.

How the site pays for itself

Hosting and bandwidth are covered by display advertising and by the revenue share built into the games themselves. Nothing here sits behind a paywall and there is no account to create. No developer has ever paid us to move a game higher in a list — position comes from how often people on this site actually press play.

Who runs it

The library is curated by Mr.Dev, a game developer who builds and publishes browser games himself. That background is the reason for the fussier parts of this site: a game that stutters on a mid-range phone, hides its controls, or demands a download halfway in does not get published, because those are the failures you notice when you have shipped a game yourself.

What we promise, and what we do not

We promise that every published game was opened and played here first, that every description was written here rather than pasted from a feed, and that we correct mistakes when they are pointed out. We do not promise that a game will stay online forever — studios withdraw titles, and when that happens the page comes down with them.
