About Niche Shift

Niche Shift is a strategy puzzle game that puts you in charge of building a balanced ocean food chain on a grid. You swipe to merge identical creatures: combine two Plankton to make Krill, two Krill to make Fish, and so on, working your way toward the apex predator, the Leviathan. The challenge comes from managing hunger. Once you create predators at level three or higher, they grow hungrier with every move you make. If you don't merge them quickly enough to satisfy their appetite, they starve and turn into Bones—immovable obstacles that clutter your board and limit your options. Success at PokiGame Arcade depends on planning several moves ahead, keeping your grid clear and your predators fed while you chase higher evolutions and bigger scores.
