About THE NUMBER PUZZLE

The Number Puzzle drops you into a classic Sudoku grid where logical thinking is your only tool. Your goal is to fill a 9×9 board with digits 1 through 9 so that no number repeats in any row, column, or 3×3 block. You start with a partially filled grid, and each empty cell is a small deduction waiting to happen. Scan rows and columns, eliminate impossible candidates, and gradually unlock the solution one number at a time.

The game offers four difficulty settings that control how many clues you receive at the start. Beginners get grids with plenty of givens, while expert puzzles leave you with sparse hints and demand serious concentration. A built-in timer tracks how long each solve takes, and an undo button lets you backtrack when you spot a mistake. If you get stuck, a hint system can reveal one correct digit. Mouse – click a cell to select it, then click a number button to fill
Touch – tap a cell, then tap a number to place it
Keyboard – press 1–9 to fill the selected cell
Undo – use the on-screen button to reverse your last move
Hint – click the hint button to reveal a correct digit
