About Turkish draughts

Turkish draughts offers a distinctive twist on the classic board game you might already know. Instead of diagonal moves, you push your pieces forward, backward, left and right along ranks and files. The 8×8 board starts with 16 pieces per side filling the second and third rows completely. Your goal is to capture all opposing pieces or block them so they cannot move. Pieces promote to kings when they reach the far edge, gaining the ability to slide any distance along their line of travel.
